The 糖心vlog官网 Theatre will wrap up its 2022-23 season with three performances of 鈥淒esdemona: A Play About a Handkerchief.鈥�
The play, written by Paula Vogel, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on April 27, 28 and 29, in the Walton Fine Art Center鈥檚 Seay Theatre. The play is intended for mature audiences and no late seating will be permitted.

Macy Foss, an adjunct faculty member in theatre at Ozarks, is the play鈥檚 director. The cast includes, Auriane Devaux as Desdemona; Kate Baptists as Emilia; and Jonathan Ezra Adderly as Bianca.
The play鈥檚 synopsis reads: 鈥淎s the wrongly accused and suffering wife of Shakespeare鈥檚 tragic Moor, Othello, Desdemona has long been viewed as the 鈥榲ictim of circumstance.鈥� But as Pulitzer Prize-winner Paula Vogel demonstrates in her comic deconstruction of Shakespeare鈥檚 play鈥攁ligning tongue-in-cheek humor while raising serious questions as to the role of women through the ages鈥擠esdemona was far from the quivering na茂f we鈥檝e all come to know.鈥�
