Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles scored one run in the first inning to take an early lead, but then wouldn't score again until the ninth inning en route to taking a 12-2 loss against Mississippi College Friday night.

Chris Driedric recorded an infield single to score Tony Morales, but the Choctaws (16-12, 6-4 ASC) answered with two runs in the second and three runs in the third and then threw seven shutout innings. Ozarks (4-26, 1-12 ASC) later allowed five runs on a pair of hits in the seventh.

Driedric finished 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Tyler Erickson (1-6) tossed six and two-third innings as the starter to receive the loss.

Ozarks concludes its three-game series with the Choctaws today in a double-header at noon.
